My cousin was hosting a baby shower for her friends soon to be baby boy and asked if I could make some table decorations and a banner.
I used the Cricut cartridge Country Life, and tried to make it a little western style.
I already owned 2 pairs of cowboy boots, so it made the project even easier. I even found a metal tin at Michaels and a cheap cowboy hat at Wal-Mart. I filled the boots 1/4 full or rocks to help the stability since they would be outside, and I did not want them to blow over. Then I added a piece of florist foam to the bottom, and cut my wooden dowels for different lengths. I went to Michaels and found different things that looked like wheat and items related to a western theme to add a little character and some flowers. Went to Wal-Mart and found bandanas for $1. Just played around with all the items until I loved the centerpieces. Very easy to make and I feel added a lot of fun!
