CoCaLo Turtle Reef Baby Shower Centerpieces Handmade

A family friend is having a baby and my mom and I volunteered to make the baby shower centerpieces.

Since the mom to be is having a baby boy she has decorated the nursery in CoCaLo Turtle Reef.  I attempted to make the turtles and fish as close as possible to the bedding.

Cricut Dimensions

Stretch your Imagination:
Turtle 6" (Cuttlebug emboss "Seeing Spots")
Skinny Turtle 9" (Cuttlebug emboss "Spots & Dots)

Birthday Bash:
Turtle 4.75"

B is for Boy:
Fish 5.5"

New Arrival:
Feet 2"

Straight from the Nest:
Scallop 4.75" (Cuttlebug emboss "Polka Dots")

Also my Mom made all the paper filler in the buckets, she used a paper crimper and then shredded.  Next time we will try regular copy paper, rather than cardstock.

  3. Hello, That is just adorable. This is the same theme my daughter is going to use. Were having a baby shower in a few months and would love to know what Shower supplies were used to match this theme.
Thank You in advance for your time.

    1. All the cutouts were with the Cricut machine, and above I listed which cartridges I used and what size. The embossing was done on top of the turtles to give it more dimension.

      Good Luck!

  5. Isn’t this cute? And it’s something I think I can also do. Not too complicated, I’ve been looking for some simple some baby shower decorating ideas for boys that are easy to do. Thanks for sharing!

  6. Loved your idea. I'm not the most creative person so I bought the room decals (which I will gift to the mom to be) and went to office depot for them to shrink and copy images to card stock paper. Then cut out and copied your idea.
