Owl Invitations for Baby Shower

I was asked to make 50 owl invitations for an upcoming baby shower.  She is a family friend and loved my SIL onesie invites and asked for something very similar.  Unfortunately for me when I upgraded to my Cricut Expression 2, I lost all my old files that were saved.

Monkey-Sugar and Spice cut at 1 1/4"
Elephant-Sugar and Spice cut at 1"

5 Easy Steps to a Birthday Invitation...Fast and Easy to Make

I have been wanting to post this 30th birthday invitation I made for my SIL, but had to wait until her surprise birthday party was over, since she is a follower on my site.

This is a really easy birthday invitation to make. Here are the 5 simple steps.
1. Cut black cardstock at 5" x 7"
2. Cut white cardstock at 4.5" x 6.5"
3. Design wording in MS Word, run white paper thru printer
4. Use a punch out of a cupcake (I used the MS punch and cut black and pink glitter, then cut off pink tops and placed over black, also embossed black thru CB)
5. Adhere all layers

Invitations using my Cricut

Here is a quick explanation of how I made the invitations using my Cricut.  I cut the colored card stock at 5" x 7". I then cut the white card stock at 6" x 6" then ran the white sheets thru my printer for the wording.  I then placed (4) white invitations onto my Cricut mat and cut out my marquee at 4".  I then used orange and teal paper, and cut the shadow marquee at 4" as well.  The design was cut from page 55 of Storybook called swirl at 2" and some at 2 1/4".

PS- I did have everything on DS and my laptop crashed at that final moment, I then had to manual cut everything out.

Birthday | San Diego Chargers Theme Centerpiece and Invitations

We recently had an 80th Surprise Birthday party for our Grandpa, who is a diehard San Diego Chargers fan. All guests wore Chargers clothing and we even hired the Chargers Band.

I made the table centerpieces and used mostly Sports Mania for the football items, and Wild Card for the HB. I used the Cuttlebug on the football and lightning bolt.

The invitations we used 80 as his age, and on the back we put his last name which the font was cut on Sure Cuts A Lot. I used the jersey from Sports Mania, and welded the shirts together. Printed the inside on Word (I even found the real Chargers font from http://www.dafont.com/), then cut it thru the Cricut.
